Kazakhstan Signs $730 Million Wind-Power Agreement With Energy Storage

Kazakhstan signed an investment agreement on 22 October for a 1,000 MW wind power plant with an energy-storage system in Kostanay Region, valued at $730 million. The investment package also included a $1 billion memorandum for a multifunctional terminal at Kuryk Port, linking energy development with major transport infrastructure.
