Uzbekistan Advances a US$250 Million Solar and Battery Project in Kashkadarya
On 22 October, Uzbekistan reviewed plans for a 300 MW solar power plant and 75 MW energy-storage system in Kashkadarya Region, part of a US$250 million project being implemented by Masdar. The region also identified US$70 million for two substations and US$150 million for a 245-kilometre transmission line, with the projects targeted for completion next year; these are reported project allocations rather than HPC service fees, and HPC can support energy analytics, infrastructure monitoring and operational modelling.
