Uzbekistan and Cengiz Holding Discuss Coal Exploration Opportunities

On 23 October, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology discussed prospective coal exploration and development sites in Surkhandarya and Tashkent regions with Turkey’s Cengiz Holding. Officials outlined subsoil-use requirements and the process for obtaining rights through electronic auctions, but no investment amount, awarded site or signed project was announced; mining companies and suppliers can monitor potential exploration, equipment and logistics opportunities, while HPC can support supply-chain analytics and operational planning.
